The research aimed to identify strategies to enhance productivity within the Nigerian economy. A comprehensive review of related literature was conducted to provide context and background for the study. Data was primarily collected through questionnaires, supplemented by personal observations and consultations of relevant textbooks. Despite challenges encountered during the research process, these methods provided valuable insights. The data was analyzed and presented using tables to facilitate interpretation. The findings revealed several key factors affecting productivity, including equipment breakdowns, poor management practices, high labor turnover, and the lack of clear production goals. These issues were identified as major contributors to low productivity levels in the workplace. Based on the findings, the study offers recommendations to address these challenges, focusing on improving equipment maintenance, management strategies, employee retention, and the establishment of clear production targets. The conclusions emphasize the need for systemic improvements in both organizational practices and worker engagement to increase productivity in the Nigerian private sector, specifically within Nigeria Breweries.
